However, attacks on visa-holders by the Trump administration have made our already precarious lives as international researchers much more difficult, while stress and anxiety distract us from doing world-class research.
With fair union contracts, we can protect against unfair terminations and discipline that could result in being forced to uproot our families and leave the country, and establish more stable, predictable appointment terms and support with our visas – so we can focus on the research we came to Sinai to do in the first place.
